The Khorasan Collection
Khorasan wheat, often known as the “ancient king of grains,” is celebrated for its golden colour, buttery aroma, and naturally sweet flavour. Larger and richer than modern wheat, it brings warmth and depth to every loaf.
At Baker on the Bay, we craft Khorasan breads that highlight its creamy texture and distinctive flavour. Slow fermentation and careful iron-baking allow the grain’ s natural oils and sugars to develop beautifully, creating bread with a soft crumb and golden crust.
Our Khorasan Collection honours a grain with royal history - offering loaves that are nourishing, aromatic, and deeply satisfying.
